Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company details, phone number) through our contact forms, consultations, and service delivery. If you accept cookies, we also collect technical data through Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, including IP address, browser type, the pages you read and the advert you arrived from. Neither tool loads until you accept it on the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.

We use your personal data to provide our NED and GRC consultancy services, respond to inquiries, deliver training and compliance frameworks, process service agreements, and improve our website functionality. We may contact you about our services where we have legitimate business interest.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist in delivering our services, professional advisors, or where required by law.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We advertise on LinkedIn to the people who run FCA-regulated investment firms, appointed representatives and firms registered with the FCA under the Money Laundering Regulations. This section explains what data that involves and the lawful basis for each part.

Company lists. We give LinkedIn the names and websites of firms we want our adverts shown to. These are taken from the FCA Register and Companies House. A company list holds no information about any individual, and LinkedIn shows the advert to members who have put that firm on their own profile. Our basis is legitimate interests: showing a relevant advert to firms whose regulatory status makes the service relevant to them.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag. If you accept cookies, the Insight Tag tells LinkedIn that your browser visited our pages, so LinkedIn can show you our adverts again, can report to us which adverts led to an enquiry or a booking, and can report in aggregate what kinds of professionals visit. We never receive your identity from the tag. LinkedIn removes direct identifiers within seven days and deletes the data within 180 days. Our basis is your consent, given on the cookie banner, which you can withdraw as easily as you gave it.

Bookings. When you book a call with us, we tell LinkedIn that a booking happened so that it can count which advert led to it. We send only a hashed version of your email address, which LinkedIn matches to its own members and then discards. Our basis is legitimate interests: measuring whether our advertising works. You can object at any time by writing to enquiries@artizangovernance.com.

Lead forms on LinkedIn. If you complete one of our forms inside LinkedIn, LinkedIn passes us the details you submitted. We use them for the purpose stated on the form and for no other.

We do not upload lists of named individuals to LinkedIn. If that changes, we will update this notice first and tell the people concerned.

LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company is an independent controller for its own processing. Its privacy policy is at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy, and you can control the adverts you see at linkedin.com/psettings/advertising.

If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 records the pages you read, how you reached them and the device you used, with your IP address truncated by Google. We use it to see which pages are read and which campaigns bring visitors. Our basis is your consent. Google LLC processes this data under its own terms, and you can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Under UK GDPR, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability. Contact us at enquiries@artizangovernance.com to exercise these rights. Where we rely on legitimate interests, including for advertising, you may object at any time and we will stop unless we can show compelling grounds. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above or as required by law.
